About Us

Unique Fire Protection Ltd was established in 1973, by a very well respected, retired Fire Officer, Mr Bob Christian along with his wife Maureen.

We are the only fully Manx independent company offering you Fire Protection relating to the Isle of Man standards.

From the beginning Unique Fire Protection Ltd has prided itself for having a reputation for quality, honesty, professionalism and reliability.

With our fully qualified personnel, trained to the highest industry standard, backed up with 50 years’ experience in the industry, we feel Unique Fire Protection Ltd offer the complete fire protection solution.

The service we provide is undertaken to the standards laid down in BS 5306-3:2017 - the main standard applicable to ‘the servicing of portable fire extinguishers’. Additionally, it certifies that our recommendations following your site survey are to the standards laid down in BS 5306-8:2012, the code of practice for the selection and installation of fire extinguishers.

Our engineers are not commission based, unlike other service companies, they do not have to meet any targets for their work and therefore will not recommend unnecessary parts or replacements of portable fire extinguishers.

We have a fully equipped workshop, where we can refill most of the Fire Extinguishers we deal with, making us environmentally friendly and keeping your costs to a minimum.
